The event, which takes place on Saturday, July 13, will feature various Bike Trial workshops and a performance by eighteen-time world champions Mireia and Gemma Abant.
The Corró d’Amunt Sports Area will be the venue for the first Corró d’Amunt on Wheels Day, organized by the Corró d’Amunt Cycling Club. The event is scheduled for Saturday, July 13, from 10 AM to 1:30 PM, as part of the activities of Les Franqueses del Vallès, European Sports Town 2024.
The event will feature various free introductory workshops on Bike Trial and Mountain Biking, as well as a workshop on how to repair bicycles. The highlight of the day will be at 1 PM with a performance by Mireia and Gemma Abant, eighteen-time world champions in Bike Trial and Trail. The Abant sisters are elite cyclists from Sabadell with a record that includes 18 individual world championships, 21 team world championships, 1 World Cup, 5 European championships, and up to 13 Spanish championships. Together, their career achievements add up to nearly eighty titles.
The 1st Corró d’Amunt on Wheels Day is open to everyone and is part of the Corró d’Amunt Major Festival.
