Around 480 people participated in one of the categories of this competition
On Saturday, January 20, the two races of the 28th Popular Cross and the 31st School Cross of Les Franqueses took place at the Municipal Cycling Sports Zone. Around 480 people participated in one of the categories of this competition in our municipality, which this year holds the title of European Sports Town 2024.
Prizes were awarded to the top three positions in each category of the Popular Cross, and to the top four positions in the School Cross, as well as to the top-ranked teams. Additionally, the school competition is part of the County Cross League for all categories established by the Sports Council. In the mini category, there was no ranking, but a participation medal was given. Each participant also received a backpack, water, and chocolate with sponge cake as a gift.
